BOOK ME
For the moments, places, and ideas worth holding onto.
Ready to begin?
I’m currently accepting custom painting commissions in oil pastel or watercolor. Whether it’s a beloved home, a meaningful place, or a personal gift, I’d be honored to turn your vision into a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
Photography and stationery services are considered on a case-by-case basis depending on availability. If you have something in mind, I’m always open to creative ideas when the timing and fit feel right.

Quick Notes
Disclaimers at a glance:
I do not paint portraits or figures at this time. My focus is on places, spaces, and the quiet details that tell a story without needing people in the frame. Animals are on a case by case basis.
I take on a limited number of commissions each month to ensure every piece receives the attention it deserves.
Turnaround is usually 2–3 weeks, depending on the complexity of your request and current booking schedule.
I reserve the right to kindly decline commissions that don’t align with my style, availability, or artistic direction.
Thank you for your trust and understanding—it truly means the world.
FAQs
Have questions? Here are some quick answers to help you feel confident about the process.
-
I currently offer three standard sizes for oil pastel paintings:
5x7
8x10
11x14
If you’re not sure which size is right for your subject, I’m happy to suggest what would work best.
-
I paint from reference images—either a photo you provide or a link (for example, a real estate listing). I’ll also do some light research (depending on the subject matter) to find a better angle or seasonal version, especially if the original image feels a little flat. If you have multiple photos, feel free to share them—I’ll help choose the strongest one and combine elements into one composition.
-
My work focuses on places, architecture, and small everyday details.
I don’t paint people (I lovingly leave that to other artists!), but I will consider pet or animal portraits on a case-by-case basis. If you have a specific idea or photo in mind, feel free to reach out! I’m happy to take a look, but I’ll always be honest if I don’t feel like I can bring your vision to life.
-
Commissioned pieces are one-of-a-kind and not reproduced as prints. However, prints from personal series like Not So Secret Garden may still be in stock. If you’re interested, you may email me at sweethoneystationery@gmail.com

Paintings and illustrations:
Each piece is priced individually based on size and detail. I’ll provide full pricing info after reviewing your request—no pressure at all to move forward until you feel good about it. Payment is typically due once you approve the project. All paintings will be framed and matted unless otherwise specified. This is built into the price of the painting.
What about photography or stationery services?
I offer photography and stationery on a case-by-case basis. Pricing varies depending on your project’s scope, but I’m happy to provide a custom quote once I understand what you’re looking for.
Please note:
Photography sessions are currently limited to Northern Virginia only (no travel at this time).
I do not offer shipping for custom stationery—local pickup or digital delivery only.

For custom paintings, most pieces are completed within 2–3 weeks, depending on the size, level of detail, and my current schedule. If you have a specific deadline (like a closing date or gift occasion), let me know early and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
For illustration, stationery projects, and photography projects, timelines can vary more depending on complexity and format—some are quick, while others involve more collaboration or time for editing. I’ll always give you a realistic estimate once I understand your project.
